Confusion and Overwhelm Caused by Anxiety

Can confusion and overwhelm be caused by anxiety? The best way to solve this circle is to learn how to control your mind through the daily practice of specific techniques.

Some people say that life is wonderful, others really hate it, most of us are somewhere in between.

Some people say that the elections in the USA were rigged, some say all is well, and many of us do not know what to believe.

Many people are healthy and vibrant, others are in pain and suffering, the rest of us are somewhere in between.

Lots of people say that the official medical treatments are the only thing that really helps, others say that only the alternative ways will help, some of us are not sure what to think about all this.

There is so much contradiction and confusion, you are going into overwhelm with all the different opinions and ways of thinking and you feel like you are totally lost in the sea of it all. And when this happens to you too much, it can create anxiety.

A lot of this information, conflicting as it is, is actually deliberately put out there to confuse us, to overwhelm us in such a way that it creates anxiety, which makes it very difficult to think straight on our own. You only have to look at the advertisements in the media to know that this is true. There are many reasons to do this, the main reasons are power and money.

It is about time that you take your power back from all that confusion and start thinking clearly again, make your own decisions, be your own strong self again.

How do you get yourself out of confusion and overwhelm?

Use your own intuition to get yourself out of confusion and overwhelm.

  • Your intuition has only your best interest at heart and knows the real truth.
  • It will never deceive you.
  • It wants you to be healthy and happy, but right now it does not feel heard.
  • Now is the time to change this.
  • Here is a way to do that:


𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭.

Take an issue or question that you face and think about it for a moment.

Stand up, close your eyes, relax and take 12 deep and slow breaths, they will take you into a bit of a trance; the alpha state.

Then ask yourself a question that needs a yes or no answer, and allow your body to move a bit forward or backward. Just allow it to happen and catch yourself before you actually fall.

Moving forward means YES, moving backward means NO.

Our intuition is talking to us through our body; we just need to pay attention to this.

You can use this in a lot of situations, you can ask yourself whether you should eat something or not, do something or not, take the medicine or not. Or you can ask if something is true or not.

You are communicating with your intuition at that moment and it will give you the correct answer. You just have to learn to trust it and that might take a few times and a bit of practice.

Once you get this, it will prove to be extremely helpful in a lot of areas in your life.

If you find it difficult to do this when you are in severe pain or stressed there is something else you can do: you can start to accept the situation where you are at right now and work from there.

Again, you sit with the pain or situation you are struggling with, and allow it to be, feel into it, relax into it and love it, be grateful for it. You know that it is a message from your body, your body is talking to you and we should learn to listen to the signals it is sending.

We know that to do this sounds simple, but it is not easy to do. But once you are able to accept what it is at that moment, you will notice that the urgency disappears, the pain becomes less, your anxiety drops and the situation does not seem to be as bad as before.

This works similar to a painkiller, without the side effects.

When you are in a more relaxed state you will be able to think more clearly.

And when you can think more clearly, you can hear the whispering voices in your mind and heart that will tell you what to do.

Hearing these voices does not mean that you are crazy or insane. In fact, it is quite the opposite, when you can acknowledge these voices, and know that they are not you, but your ego or your intuition (they are not the same and there is a difference in voices, we will tell you more on that in a later blog) you are saner than most people that I know. 

You have to be a bit patient with yourself and do not expect results immediately, sometimes the changes are so subtle that you might not notice them at first, but when you look back, later on, you will notice them.

Don’t judge yourself

Love yourself unconditionally, do not judge yourself, nor others, don’t indulge in high expectations, it will bring you disappointments and that gives rise to resentment and sometimes even anxiety.

Stop resenting yourself and your environment, love it like you love a baby or a pet, unconditionally, without expecting anything in return. Expectations also can create anxiety for a lot of people.
